Yes, I’ve been bitten by the fantasy football bug this fall season. I never understood why anyone would partipate in such an activity, but based on the annual pitch from my cousin Jeff, I finally signed up for an online newbie league at nfl.com.
Jeff’s in a league with a group of his local friends, and they have had the same guys playing for over a decade. They have a much-coveted tropny and the bragging rights are so high to the posessor of the trophy that I’m surprised it hasn’t come to blows. Jeff seems convinced that his team, “The Grizzlers”, will be victorious this season. He’s even promised SWSRN and I that we can “showcase” the trophy in our home for a whole week. :-)
OK, enough about cousin Jeff. My first fantasy football team is actually leading my newbie league with a current record of 6-1. The “Headscratchers” are headed into a dead-even battle this week with the “Magicians” after a very close win last week over the “Taco Shop”.
My lineup for this week is – QB, Matt Hasselbeck – RB, Domanick Davis and Thomas Jones – WR, Jerry Porter and Reggie Wayne – TE, Graham Daniel (ugh) – K, Shayne Graham and my DST is the New York Jets. The nfl.com stat guru is predicting an 81-81 point tie with the Magicians, so it will be interesting to see if my guys can pull out yet another victory.

eww..football..lol..just kidding..hey..was wondering what ever happened to the bike riding..are you still doing it?..just curious..if not..it’s ok..but I wanted to peek in and give an “attaboy” if you still were..!

Tori—I need the “attaboy”, but I don’t deserve it today. I haven’t ridden to work in 3 weeks. I’ll post as soon as I get my butt back on the seat.
